16' Glastron Bass Boat w/ 140 HP Evinrude - $3900 (Nampa) Ad id: 708136558058170 |  Views: 118

Price: 3900 USD
This is an awesome family fishing boat. It is in great shape for being 34 years old (the boat is a 1979 Glastron). We are moving and cannot bring it with us. I have a family of 8 and we have all been on it at the same time (though it was crowded). With my 2 boys and I, it is more than comfortable and gets up on plane pretty quickly. It goes about 53 MPH at top speed. We have even pulled the kids on a tube behind it. There are 3 storage compartments (under seating areas), not counting the 2 live wells (that are currently not hooked up, but would be functional otherwise). The rear battery compartment is quite spacious and could easily house 3 batteries and an on-board charging system - making it a fully functional 24V system (I currently only have 2 batteries and have it functioning on the 12V setup). Though the cover says "115 HP", the motor is actually a 1980 Evinrude 140 HP. The stern has actually been reinforced with metal diamond plating to ensure proper support for the larger motor. The boat has a control panel at the console with access to the engine's power tilt and power trim. It also has the controls for the bilge pump, recirculating pump, bow/stern lights and running lights. The motor is controlled by cable-style power steering and has a hand throttle/choke system - conveniently located at the driver's right side. The boat has a new Humminbird fish finder on the bow and an Eagle fish finder at the console. The boat also has a Motorguide 45 HP foot-controlled trolling motor mounted on the bow. All of these are fully functional. There is also a convenient control panel at the bow equipped with a power-tilt switch and a 12V (cigarette lighter) outlet.I have put the most money into the engine - replacing the entire power head ($3000.00) back in 2009. I have also kept up on the routine maintenance tasks throughout. The boat has been stored in my garage, thus preventing it from being exposed to the elements. I bought it from my brother, who purchased it from one of my best friends a few years earlier. My friend bought it in 2002 from someone living in Central Oregon. Location: Nampa
