$600 firm -- Marked down from $1,200! Take advantage of this deal!!Note: We are the second owners. The first owners had the E-82 for 8 months and hardly used it (except as a clothes hanger!).SportsArt E82 Series commercial elliptical cross-trainer -- great for burning calories! This unit is comparable to the types of gliders in LVAC. It is smooth and sturdy, unlike many of those flimsy home versions. All electrical works fine including pre-set and programmable exercise programs. Owner's Manual included. You know the drill: Set Age, Weight, Workout Time, Program (Manual, Custom, Random, Hill, etc.) or set USER (assign yourself a user number) and machine will remember your preferences. Or, just hit Quick Start and get moving. Be sure and get your HEART RATE while you're working out by grabbing the inner handles. Note: The machine weighs 250 lbs. and is pretty big so bring a truck and some muscle (I'll give you some help). Has wheels in the back section which makes it a little easier.Price: $650 oboThis elliptical is in excellent condition and works like new and is one of the best commercial ellipticals you can buy. It is great for a home or office. Here's a review I ran across:"Pros: Variable stride length, great console, smooth operationCons: None (large machine, make sure you have enough space)Recommended it? YesThe Bottom Line: The E82 has a high quality feel and finish, variable stride length capability, wonderful console, and many innovative features.I need to tell you that I love my SportsArt elliptical trainer! I think it is the nicest, most advanced elliptical trainer made in the world at any price. Electronic Adjustable Stride Length The stride length of the unit can be adjusted electronically between 17" and 26". There is a switch on the console and a remote switch on the right exercise arm that can be pressed either up or down to increase or decrease stride length. I use the switch on the arm because I adjust the stride length while I am working out. WOW, I need to warn you that once you try variable stride length . . . you may never be happy with a fixed stride length trainer ever again. It allows you tremendous flexibility in tuning your workout and your comfort level. Plus, each family member can just dial in the right setup for their workout.Moving Arms Moving arms give you a total body workout and work areas that may surprise you, like your abs. This total body workout is NOT a gimmick . . . it works. It became a must have feature for me. The moving arms and variable stride length allow you to effective simulate walking, jogging, and running. The left arm has a switch that allows you increase/decrease resistance and the right arm has a switch to control stride length. I love these arm mounted switches; they allow you to make workout adjustments without taking your hands off the armsConsole The console on the E82 was easily the nicest one I saw on any elliptical trainer. It is a beautiful, bright three color (red, green, orange LED's) console. Also, the elliptical trainer is designed so that the console is higher and closer to eye level; it is really easy to see and read while working out. It is a great two tier layout, with control buttons on a small pod on the bottom and data displayed on the top of the console. Eleven statistics (Time, Resistance, Stride Length, Strides, Calories, Calories / Hour, etc.) are clearly displayed, along with a large graphical area that utilizes three color graphics. All of the fields are nice and large; oversized. Even the cells of the graphical display are oversized. The aesthetics of the console creates a nice, high quality feel. The fact that the console is compact and placed higher makes it easier to see and use; it is a nice design. Warning: After spending some time on this machine, other high-end elliptical trainers may seem laughably basic. Thank you SportsArt for brightening my day and exceeding my expectations with this thoughtful, well designed product.
