Apply at:https://alsalamjobs.iapplicants.com/application.phpF-15 Structural MaintenanceCore Maintenance Tasks: Perform a wide range of structural related tasks involving modification, manufacturing, or repair of aircraft structure, components, access panels, or skin. Additionally, employee could be called upon to disassemble/reassemble structures, components or paneling to access areas of work including cleaning, FOD free and closing. Accomplish structure work, utilizing product drawings. Possess strong structural / mechanical theory. All work will be accomplished using technical instructions to include but not limited to tech orders, service bulletins, checklists, schematics, diagrams, blueprints, engineering repair instructions, and operating/shop manuals. You will also assists in support of other skill sets such as, pneumatics, pneudraulics, electrical, and avionics.Duties and Responsibilities: * Applies coating materials such as primers, paints, and sealants using standard application techniques.* Responsible for maintaining accurate time accounting of work performed in real-time. Report any time discrepancies to supervisors. * Demonstrates effective/productive practices, uses trade related hand tools, and operates metal working equipment for fabrication of damaged structures or components. Able to set up and use jigs or special shop aids. Must be familiar with lock out/tag out (LOTO) when operating test/support equipment or tooling. * Can identify corrosion types, determines severity and either initiates repairs or further inspection to assess damage. * Identifies all occupational/safety hazards. Follows safety standards, practices, guidelines, and techniques including HAZMAT and be willing to coach others in complying with program policies and procedures.* Identifies and initiates the documentation of nonconforming material, tooling, components, and existing incoming discrepancies. * May be required to work any shift assigned and extra hours (overtime) with little notice.* Attends program initiated training, until management deems individual qualified to enter production. Will be routed through program re-training as required.* Maintains a clean work area and adheres strictly to FOD program policies and procedures and the lean 5S methodology.* Performs other duties and projects assigned by Production Managers* Maintains effective working relationship with other employees.* Reports all incidents, accidents, and other program concerns to supervisor.* Wears program identified personal protective equipment.* May serve as subject matter expert while assisting the OJT of other employees.* Documents all maintenance performed plus keeps supervision informed of potential issues that may cause delay.* Maintains and inspects all tools assigned or designated for use in production areas. * Embraces continuous process improvement; demonstrates a strong work ethic; embraces teamwork; supports program initiativesExperience, Education, Training & Certifications * Acceptable comprehension / communication (read & write) of English Language* Ability to repair and restore original strength to components such as frames, stringers, bulkheads, spars, ribs, and stiffeners. Experience with reinforcing damaged or weakened skin on structural members, and removing and replacing portions and complete sections of airframe structure. Familiar working with various structural fasteners such as; taperlocks, high-locks, lock bolts, Jo-bolts, and rivets.* Completion of formal technical school a plus.* Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations. * Extensive experience in F-15 structural & mechanical systems a plus.* Ability and willingness to increase individual knowledge and skills through program provided training.
