The Digital Assets Administrator & Quality Assurance is responsible for preparing photo images and graphics files for catalogs, print ads, and Web production.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMajor responsibilities of the position are listed below. Other duties, assignments and specific projects may be assigned at the discretion of executive management. • Traffics digital assets portion of new product builds and asset requests for web and print to internal databases and team members.• Quality Assurance of digital assets to ensure they are up to web and/or print standard guidelines.• Verify digital assets are accurately displaying on enterprise websites o (Ranking order, digital assets matches product data, no technical deficiencies on PDPs, etc...)• Retrieve digital assets from archived databases and updates data and/or asset for placement in current database• Processes video for web pages, including basic editing, compression and catalogs within internal databases.• May be required to execute some technical modifications needed within internal databases.• Help facilitate in monitoring a schedule of product photography, both in house and in our distribution center.• Image clipping and adjusting in Photoshop as necessary• May need to facilitate tasks given by Digital Assets Manager.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:• High School diploma or equivalent• 1-2 years of experience with digital assets management systems helpful o Adobe Scene 7, Extensis Portfolio, Quickbase and Filemaker Pro• Must have experience using Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop (Advanced) / Illustrator & InDesign (Basic) • Strong skills with production image processing using Adobe Photoshop for Macintosh in a commercial settingo Including color correction, image resizing, and clipping path features• Experience in commercial photo and production image processing• Experience with FTP sites• Basic understanding of SQL • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite • A clear understanding of RGB and CMYK color spaces and the basic issues of process color separations for print and RGB continuous tone for Web.• A basic understanding of line art and raster file formats and of the issues associated with their optimal use in print and Web presentation.
